Transport clients to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities using wheelchair- and stretcher-accessible vehicles.
Provide door-through-door service—escorting clients inside facilities such as rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, hospice care, and private residences. This role involves extensive walking throughout the day.
Assist with loading, unloading, and securing patients in wheelchairs or stretchers, ensuring their safety throughout the trip. Clients may weigh 200 lbs. or more, requiring proper lifting and transfer techniques.
Properly secure wheelchairs and stretchers in the vehicle, including fastening all necessary safety straps. This task may require bending, lifting, and stretching to ensure a secure and comfortable ride.
Interacting with our dispatch software on your mobile device for navigation, capturing signatures and updating trip status.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the vehicle and equipment, report any maintenance issues, and ensure the vehicle is fueled and in good working condition.
Full-time drivers work Mondays - Fridays with shifts typically lasting anywhere from 4 to 12 hours based on trip demand.
Weekend availability required—drivers may be required to work on Sundays, along with select holidays as needed.
Shift start and end times vary daily, depending on the schedule and trip volume.
